The roadster variant SLS AMG Roadster was officially unveiled at the IAA in the fall of 2011 and arrived on November 19, 2011 on the official market. The term ” SLS ” is the short version for “Sport Light Super”.
It is the first vehicle independently developed by AMG. Each engine is assembled by a single worker at the AMG factory in Affalterbach by hand and documented with a corresponding badge with his engraved signature. The car is mounted in the factory of Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen. In the Formula one, the SLS AMG was used as a safety car.
This vehicle will be equipped with a current service at the Mercedes dealer in Cologne before being handed over to our customer.
