FERRARI F40 *** LEXAN SLIDING WINDOWS ***

The Ferrari F40. A vehicle which has written history. The sports car icon from the late 80s, was at that time with a new car price of 444,000 german mark and an edition of 1,315 built vehicles, another sought-after collector’s item. It did not look with the production in such a way that the decrease of originally 450 thought copies, is reached. However, the demand rose so high that another 865 pieces were ordered. At the time, the carbon fiber body was considered state of the art and set new standards in the sports car industry. This vehicle was regularly serviced by Ferrari and this can be proven without any gaps.

This vehicle in particular was delivered from the factory as a lexan-glass version. Unofficial figures state that only about 100 of this Plexiglas version has been built.
